Olive Oil

Extra virgin olive oil is a cold-pressed, unrefined oil that retains much of the flavor and nutrients of the olives from which it is extracted. It has an incredibly healthy amount of monounsaturated fats and antioxidants. Not only is this virgin oil high in healthy fats, but it is also complex, robust, rich, and flavorful, adding notes of fruity, buttery, and grassy flavors to any cooking creations.

Extra virgin olive oil does have a low smoke point, however, so it can't be used for high-heat cooking or frying.

Oil is cold-pressed from olives that are harvested early in the season. Processing shortly after harvest preserves the naturally high antioxidant levels and yields well-balanced, extra fresh oil, that is bright, peppery, and ideal for daily cooking.
